I started on the Wellness Program with Dr Mike Jorgenson at Red River Chiropractic & Wellness on July 26th, 2024. I was overweight, I was having almost daily migraines, I had a terrible thick phlegm in my throat, a stiff neck, chronic pain from fibromyalgia, digestive issues & I was pre-diabetic. I was concerned that I was going to require taking insulin if I didn't make some changes soon.
Dr Mike Jorgenson recommended that we get an x-ray of my neck and he showed me how out of adjustment my neck was. After my first chiropractic adjustment I noticed more motion in my neck. After 10 days on the Wellness Program and vitamins I noticed the thick phlegm in my throat was gone. I had been prescribed acid reflux medication and I stopped taking it after 10 days on the program and have not been experiencing any acid reflux issues since. Within less than a month without sugar, I noticed a change in my pain level from fibromyalgia...it was almost gone. AsI dropped several sizes in clothing, I also noticed how much thinner my neck was getting...I was able to wear my choker type necklaces that I hadn't been able to wear for several years.
I have completed the 3 month Wellness Program and I have lost 35 pounds, about 4 clothing sizes, I have gone off 1 medication, I have better sleep, less brain fog, better mood, less inflamation, no pain and better lab results. In just 60 days, I've lost 17 pounds and dropped 9% body fat. I can fit into my clothes again, and while my goal was never to be super skinny, I just wanted to get back to my pre-COVID normal and I've actually gone beyond that!
