See Why Patients Choose Us

When I first heard about Red River Chiropractic and Wellness, it was on one of my morning commutes while listening to the radio. Hearing them talk about getting healthy through natural means instead of relying on prescription drugs really spoke to me. I liked that they focused on finding the root cause of health problems instead of just treating the symptoms.

I had never been someone who went in for yearly physicals, and I’ve never been very comfortable with getting my blood drawn or being in a hospital setting. But I realized I really didn’t know where my health stood, so I decided it was time to get a blood panel. After hearing about the program on the radio, it just felt like it fit my attitude toward health, so I decided to do the blood work through them.

When my lab results came back, I expected a few numbers to be off, but I was surprised by how much further outside the optimal ranges they actually were. Seeing those results, especially my insulin levels, really opened my eyes and drove my decision to commit to the program and make a change.
At first, I was surprised by how much of a lifestyle change the program required and how much discipline it took. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was the amount of education that came with it. Between the InBody scans and the online courses, I learned so much about why I was making these changes instead of just being told what to do. That education has tremendous value because it’s something I can always go back and review.

The beginning wasn’t easy. One of the first things I had to eliminate was sugar, and I definitely had a sweet tooth. I drank soda regularly and relied on sugary foods. That was probably one of the hardest changes. Another adjustment was spreading my meals throughout the day instead of eating the majority of my food at night. But once I got through those first difficult changes, everything started becoming easier. Once I committed mentally, each additional change became a little easier than the last, and before long it all became part of my routine.

One of the biggest changes for me wasn’t even something I originally came in to work on. Before starting the program, I was using THC regularly. Every night it had become a routine—I would use THC, snack for hours, binge eat, and never really feel full. I was also dealing with brain fog and short-term memory problems, but I didn’t really recognize those things as being connected.

When I started this program, I made a commitment that I wanted to do it completely clean and not use THC. The same discipline it took to change my eating habits and commit to exercising helped me stay committed to giving up THC as well. Looking back, I think this program gave me the structure and accountability I needed to make that change.

The improvements I’ve experienced from not using THC have honestly been eye-opening. My brain fog is gone. My short-term memory has improved tremendously, and I feel so much sharper mentally. What started as a health program made me realize I wasn’t just addressing my physical health—I was also overcoming a habit that I hadn’t fully acknowledged was affecting my life. I don’t have any intention of going back because the positive changes have been incredible.

Physically, the transformation has been just as amazing. Before the program, if I tried jogging or exercising, my knees hurt and I would get terrible shin splints. Today I’m running a couple of miles regularly without any pain at all. It’s honestly a night-and-day difference.

I also lost 47 pounds, going from 213 pounds down to 166 pounds, and reduced my body fat by 15%. Those numbers are exciting, but what really made everything sink in was comparing my before and after pictures. My wife took pictures before I started, and we took another set after I finished. Because I saw myself every day, I really didn’t notice the gradual changes in the mirror. I was almost in denial about how much I’d changed. But when I saw those pictures side by side, it honestly looked like I was looking at a completely different person.

Looking back, I’m blown away by what I was able to accomplish in just a few months. I came into the program concerned about my lab work and my weight, and I left with better health, more energy, a clearer mind, and a completely different outlook on taking care of myself.

I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone who feels stuck. If you’ve tried different diets, fasting, exercising because everyone else is doing it, or you’ve struggled to stay consistent, this program gives you something different. The accountability of coming in for regular InBody scans, the education that explains why you’re making each change, and the support from the staff make it much easier to stay committed.

For me, learning why these changes mattered made all the difference. It became exciting because I wasn’t just following another diet—I understood what was happening inside my body, and then I got to watch those changes show up in my lab work, my body composition, and how I felt every day.
Having people there to encourage you and hold you accountable makes it much easier than trying to do it on your own. If you’ve struggled to make healthy choices by yourself, I can’t recommend this program enough. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I came to Red River Chiropractic & Wellness because I wanted to lower my blood pressure and lose weight. While going through the program, I was really happy with the results.

I lowered my A1C by 0.3, but one of the biggest improvements was my inflammation. It dropped from 14 down to 1.2, which was incredible to see. I also lost 12 pounds, gained 1 pound of muscle, and reduced my body fat by 5%. I continued exercising throughout the program, and it was encouraging to see my body composition improve instead of just the number on the scale.

The education was helpful, even though I was already familiar with some of the information. It gave me new perspectives and reinforced healthy habits.

The diet was also very tolerable, making it something I could stick with.

As a 69-year-old woman, I’m very pleased with my results and would recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their health, lose weight, and reduce inflammation.
